What we say...

The Shotmiser G320 features a map of each hole which automatically zooms in on the green the closer you get. Our testers were hugely impressed by the amount of detail available on every hole – essentially distances to any point on the hole from your current position by simply tapping the point on the screen.David said it was the future of GPS devices and likened the feature to Tiger Woods Golf on games consoles.

However, Jon pointed out the good news for mortal golfers is even if you hit the ball wide left or right, the Shotmiser automatically turns the hole around so that what you see in front of you is what is on the screen.

While Neil loved the interactivity, he pointed out that it might not be ideal in poor weather because it can be a little fiddly. Ben was also a fan but his one criticism was, like all GPS devices, he couldn’t easily get an exact yardage to the pin. The price was a slight negative with our testers – mainly because of the extra course download costs. But this fantastic product won all-round acclaim.

The New G300 Snooper Shotmiser is the next revolution in the world of golf equipment. It has brought a new meaning to course management and working your way around a golf course, beit  your own, or more significantly one you have never seen before.

Most GPS systems can only give numeric readouts to a limited number of positions on a hole, which are only of any use if you can see them. They do not provide the golfer with a visual reference of the hole being played.

In contrast, Shotmiser uses accurate and detailed maps of the course and, combined with or without GPS, provides yardage information to any position on the course.

Shotmiser is not only a distance measuring system, but a complete course management tool. It enables you to view the distance to your preferred layup point or how far to reach or carry any hazard, simply by touching the screen.
