Callaway FT-i 25th Anniversary Driver Review

The Callaway FT-i 25th Anniversary Driver was made to celebrate 25 years of innovation and technology.The Limited Edition Callaway 25th Anniversary FT-i Driver celebrates the vision of the man who founded Callaway Golf in 1982. Taking unconventional thinking and having it blossom into equipment that helps make every golfer a better golfer was the driving force for Ely Callaway. The result is a long legacy of groundbreaking innovations that started with the original Big Bertha Driver and continues today with the FT-i Driver and its Complete Inertial Design. Only 2,500 of these drivers have been produced and each will be individually numbered, making these a valuable collector’s item. In honour of the 25th anniversary, the driver features silver colouring on the crown, sole, shaft and grip.

460cc Complete Inertial Design; Positions discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, raising the moment of inertia (MOI) for unparalleled resistance to twisting both horizontally and vertically, providing forgiveness on shots hit all over the face.

Carbon Composite Body;The material used to make the body is significantly lighter than titanium, allowing Callaway Golf engineers to move discretionary weight where it is needed most, resulting in better stability and distance.

CT/VFT Titanium Cup Face; Modified version of VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximize performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in our largest most robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.

OptiFit Weighting System; Enables golfers to customize their driver by giving them three different center of gravity (CG) locations to choose from in most lofts: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade; Neutral for maximum workability; or Fade for promoting a fade or reducing a hook/draw
