What we say...

MD Golf is rapidly becoming a major player in the golf equipment market, and this new Superstrong EQL wood stands up really well against the big boys. Belfry pro Chris Ryan took an instant shine to this club: it flew like a bullet for him, long and straight, and he loved the quality ProForce V2 shaft, the same used by Tour pros Jim Furyk and Davis Love III. Our higher handicapper struggled a bit more with the lower, penetrating ball flight, which was a result of the incredibly low spin rate. Definitely a club the strong player will like, but lacks that mass-market appeal.

Md Golf Fairway Woods User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 Easy to hit despite the small size

I bought the 5 wood for £35 at the NEC golf show and love it. I took a while to get used to hit but now I get consistent results and am confident from 180 yards. It is a joy to look down on because of it's compact size andthe grip and shaft are both good quality. A great product for a great price!

I bought this after your review of MD Golfs driver and talking to friends. I also bought the superstrong advance irons. This wood plays as easily as a utility with the extra distance you'd expect. Can't speak highly enough of MD's kit. next stop the driver

  • 5 out of 5 Long and straight.

I bought the MD 3 wood shortly after your lastest test, its great, distance from the tee or off the fairway is well over 200 yards, and its straight. Put your driver away on the short par 4's, hit the 3 wood 225 yards down the middle and its a 125 yard wedge or 9 iron to the green for an easy par or birdie, makes golf a lot easier.
