What we say...

You have to hold your hands up to the guys at Nike – the SasQuatch fairway wood is cleverly designed. The Nike Sasquatch fairway wood’s head is black and silver; by drawing your eye to the smaller (black) section, you don’t realise how big the head is. So, in effect, you are hitting an oversized head and don’t realise it.
A rounded sole and deep centre of gravity make the fairway wood forgiving and easy to hit from most lies, and its head has the look of a traditional pear-shaped persimmon wood, which better players will love.

TheNike SasQuatch Fairway Wood's head has been expanded with PowerBow technology to move the centre of gravity further back, resulting in higher launch and maximum distance.

    Bought a second hand 13 degree 3 wood and have been very happy with it. Sound from the club head is very high pitched, like hitting two pieces of steel together, but I like it. I used this as my main driving club until I bought a Nike Sumo 460cc - these two clubs now proudly sit together in my bag.

    Bought mine 2nd hand for £80 and it was the best buy I have made. Already had the driver to match but this 3 wood is so easy to hit on fairways or out of the light rough.

    I used to have the old ignite 3 wood, which was fine off the tee, but a little deep for my liking for fairway use. This, however, has a perfect profile. Easy to nip off tight fairways but deep enough to hit from the tee. Hot face too, with a great trajectory. As good a 3 wood as I've ever hit.

    Like the driver, the 3-wood has a intresting head shape and produces fairly low shots but very rarely off line. I play off 24 and aren't the straighest or longest hitter but this added both of of those to my game and is a great club on a bad driver day.
