What we say...

The striking chrome and satin finish of the Nike Pro Combo Tour golf clubs catches the eye before they’re even pulled from the bag. The progressive cavity back long irons fade into bladed short irons effortlessly, making them more attractive to the everyday golfer.

Compared to others these feel a bit clunky and lacked feel, particularly in the long irons. But they look good and perform reasonably well.

The Nike Pro Combo Tour's three unique clubhead designs give perfect forgiveness and feel throughout the set.

Nike Irons User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 Best Combo set by far!!!!!

    By mattfaldowoods

The original and the best. These are a refined version of the original and thankfully they have got rid of the plastic finish and high flying shafts and gone for quality. And they are just that. More control on the bladed short irons and more forgiveness as you work through the set, ideal. Nike or anyone else will find these hard to beat, the New cci defintately don't

These were the first set of proper irons i had bought. I was a bit naive and went for the name 'Nike'. At first i was please i was striking the ball reasonably, and was off 21 (i had only been playing for around 8 months on and off). I didnt think anything about the club at first as i was basically getting used to them. After having them for nearly 2 years now i am still strugling to break 18, mainly due to my iron play. The long irons are very hard to hit at times and you never get a feel that you've connected with the ball, but the blades you get for the 8,9 and PW have a great feel when you connect with a sweet shot. Overall this a not a set for beginners and unless you can rely on your driving to save your game i wouldnt recommend these!

  • 5 out of 5 Perfect Set of Irons

I have had these irons for 18 months and so far I've come down from a 24 handicap to 18 and still progressing, I like them so much I've bought a 2 iron, 'A' wedge & ltd edition TW sandwedge, If your after a great set of irons & a chance to play with forged blades, for reasonable money, buy these.

  • 3 out of 5 The good, bad but not so ugly.

I have had these clubs for over a year now. PW 9 and 8 are blades progressing up to full cavity in long irons. The bad first - the long irons are difficult to be consistent with and lack feel. Any but a perfect swing is punished. 5 6 and 7 are muscle backs and are a happy medium, more feel with good forgiveness. The PW 9 and 8 are absolutely perfect. They have huge amounts of feel with everything from full swings to little chips around the green. AND the blades are beautiful, just beautiful. I simply cannot fault the blades. As for the quality fo construction that is of the highest standard. I play 3 times aweek in all conditions, they don't get dried off after a wet round and the clubs and shafts have lasted extremely well. I even use a wire brush to clean the grooves and the clubs show very little sign of this abuse. Overall I would buy nike again but I am likely to stick with the mid and short irons and replace the long irons with rescue clubs.
