What we say...
For a company better known for their irons, Mizuno is gaining a reputation for producing impressive flatsticks. Milled from a pure 1025E Carbon Steel billet, this mid-mallet offered good levels of feel, while Paul thought the satin finish was elegant. Richard also enjoyed the finish and was lethal from six feet, holing four.
Pro James noted it sat a little upright, but it didn’t unduly concern him as he canned two putts from 25 feet. Andrew picked up on the forgiveness too, saying he felt it offered a great balance between a blade and a mallet. Though Dave felt the putter didn’t suit his eye, he pointed out the high levels of performance from both distances.

Mizuno have designed their MP Series Putters to generate a solid, soft feel from the putter face, while also giving you the purest of rolls. If you like feedback from your putter face the MP T106 putter is the one for you.
The putter has grain flow forging and combines material consistency and strength whilst still giving you a solid feel off the putter face. The putter starts with a single 1025E Pure Select carbon steel billet before being Grain Flow Forged into the final putter shape. It is then CNC milled to ensure exact alignment and a flawless profile at address.
The 1025E steel is a purer metal which gives you a greater level of consistency on the putting green. The CNC milling process allows the face thickness to be reduced to 3.5mm for a pure yet responsive feel. Another application of a further milled layer features a highly researched score-lines for a more consistent roll.
The soft stain chrome finish means that each putter has been designed to be glare reducing at address and throughout your stroke. The MPT 106 is fitted with a black and white Mizuno MP putter grip as standard.
