Seemore X3 Black Putter Review: You need to know
Seemore have a patent on their Rifle Scope Technology alignment system (hide the red dot), which they say adds confidence at address as golfers see when they’re correctly set up. The X3 is cast from 303 stainless with a CNC Milled face and TPU face insert. A centre shaft design it’s got one alignment line on the top rail and two stripes on the back flange.
Seemore X3 Black Putter Review: We say
Seemore putters have been around for ages and when the likes of Zach Johnson and Payne Stewart have won majors using their models, their difficult to argue against. The thinking behind the Rifle Scope alignment system is really simple, and you’d think as two of our testers like to putt in straight lines it should be simple to pick up. But truth be told we just didn’t get on that well, with the concept or the X3.
We felt like we spent so much time trying to hide the red dot on the head behind the shaft, focus was taken away from the putts we were facing. Simon in particular felt like his hands were behind the ball, giving an unnatural feel. We don’t have any doubts there will be fans of Rifle Scope out there, and if that’s you we’re actually a bit jealous as we really wanted the concept to work for us too.
Seemore X3 Black Putter Review: Verdict
Our test pro was the X3s biggest fan and he’s not usually a fan of centre shafted models. Seemore like to fit golfers properly before selling you a putter which seems like the only way to go if you’re interested in bagging yourself one.
