What we say...

Today's Golfer Hybrid Test 2011

Tested: July 2011
Testing panel:
Chris Ryan (Belfry Pro)
Leon Iacono (HCP 4)
David Connor (HCP 10)
Ben Miles (HCP 17)

Leon was a big fan, saying he felt he could really 'go aft er the ball'. Chris agreed it was an extremely stable club though he likened the shape more to a 7-wood. Like the Superstrong he felt the face was a little shallow to use regularly off the tee and admitted he would go for the stronger-loft ed 18° option. Dave said the performance and forgiveness was excellent but thought it lacked a little in terms of feedback. Ben liked the head shape and got excellent results.

Following on from the gorgeous driver and fairway woods, the MD Golf Seve Ballesteros Icon Hybrids offer the forgiveness and playability which is not associated with a long iron.
