Today’s Golfer Hybrid Test 2011

Tested: July 2011
Testing panel:
Chris Ryan (Belfry Pro)
Leon Iacono (HCP 4)
David Connor (HCP 10)
Ben Miles (HCP 17)

Leon was a big fan, saying he felt he could really ‘go aft er the ball’. Chris agreed it was an extremely stable club though he likened the shape more to a 7-wood. Like the Superstrong he felt the face was a little shallow to use regularly off the tee and admitted he would go for the stronger-loft ed 18° option. Dave said the performance and forgiveness was excellent but thought it lacked a little in terms of feedback. Ben liked the head shape and got excellent results.
