What’s in the bag of three-time Major winner and Solheim Cup stalwart Anna Nordqvist? Today’s Golfer reveals all.
2023 saw Anna Norqvist take on a player-vice captaincy role at the Solheim Cup in Andalucia, Spain. Nodqvist has been a mainstay in the European team since her debut in 2009.
The Swede is a three-time Major winner having triumphed at the 2009 LPGA Championship, the 2017 Evian Championship, and the 2021 British Open. That’s three different decades!
Nordqvist narrowly lost out to Brittany Lang at the 2016 US Open with the American player eventually going on to win via a playoff.
Nordqvist has amassed a further six titles on the LPGA Tour, and three more on the European Tour across her career which has seen her regularly finish the calendar year in the top 30 in the Women’s Golf World Rankings.
The Arizona State University graduate is a Swag Staffer and is easily identifiable on tour thanks to her flamboyant and vibrantly colored bags. The brand even designed a putter headcover modeled on Anna lifting the LPGA trophy in her native Swedish colorways.

Anna Nordqvist uses a Titleist TSi3 driver (10º) with a Fujikura Ventus Red 6 S shaft
The more compact, traditional pear shaping of TSi3 is aimed at more consistent ball-strikers seeking ultimate control over their flight.
A five-setting SureFit CG track offers precise adjustments, from ‘most heel biased’ through to ‘most toe biased’, allowing players to fine-tune their shot shape and launch. Unlike TS3, the weight is now easily visible, allowing you to see its position without removing any parts. Its location at the very rear of the club also increases stability on those off-center hits.

What fairway wood does Anna Nordqvist use?
Anna Nordqvist uses a Titleist TSi2 fairway wood (15°) with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 75 shaft
As with the TSi2 drivers, the fairway wood is a modern-shaped club aimed at players who want to launch it high with maximum forgiveness. TSi2 provides speed and accuracy across the clubface along with maximum distance and forgiveness thanks to a deeper and lower fixed center of gravity. What hybrids does Anna Nordqvist use?
Anna Nordqvist uses PXG 0317 X GEN2 hybrids (19°, 22°) with Graphite Design Tour AD DI-6 shafts
Shots with the 0317 X soared into the air, time after time, after time. I hit the 22° so much higher and better than I ever could a 4-iron, and shots descended at a decent angle so they’d stop on a green too. And when needed, I could drill shots low into the breeze. Adjustable hosels seem to be dying out in hybrids, but for me, the extra versatility to dial in the exact loft to fill a distance gap in my set with the 0317 is absolutely invaluable. Needless to say the Cobra Baffler has now been retired to the garage.

What golf ball does Anna Nordqvist use?
Anna Nordqvist uses a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball
The urethane cover on the Pro V1x is created by mixing two components, with the liquid urethane cast into Titleist-manufactured cavities to form the appropriate dimple pattern into the cover. Titleist says the precise timing and temperature are integral to the consistency of golf’s No.1 ball.
The 348-dimple design was a huge change in the 2021 ball and, unsurprisingly, that remains on the new model to optimize aerodynamics. The casing works with the new core to reduce excess long-game spin while combining with the cover to create greenside spin.
