Xander Schauffele picked up his first victory of the year at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, winning the team event alongside Ryder Cup teammate Patrick Cantlay.
It was Schauffele’s fifth PGA Tour win and his first since January 2019, although the 28-year-old did win a gold medal at at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The Callaway staffer has made a relatively slow start to 2022, with four top-20s and a T3 (at the WM Phoenix Open) the highlights from his nine starts prior to this victory.
Schauffele missed the cut at both The Players Championship and The Masters, but remains comfortably inside the world’s top 15 players.
The American star’s bag consists mainly of Callaway clubs, although he does play a couple of Titleist Vokey wedges. He’s also an adidas Golf ambassador.
