Popular 2-FORE!-1 venue Morley Hayes GC, Derbyshire, has announced an exclusive partnership to host a Lee Westwood Golf Academy.
Morley Hayes boasts an 18 hole course and four star hotel, is looking forward to welcoming the Ryder Cup star when he hosts one of his exclusive golf academy’s from 27th – 29th July.
The decision for Morley Hayes to host one of Lee’s nine nationwide academies for 7-16 year olds compliments the status of the club as the home of the East Midlands Golf Academy.
The Lee Westwood Golf Academy, held in partnership with The Co-operative, will run at nine specialist venues across the country in the 10 days following The Open Championship.
Each Academy will provide three full days of expert tuition for boys and girls of all abilities.
As well as learning about the game, the academy programme will be a lot of fun, with the incentive of one overall winner from each Academy receiving the prize of a day’s golf with Lee at Lindrick Golf Club on 31 August 2009, plus there will be goodies for all attendees.
