The county of Cheshire is a hotbed of 2-FORE!-1 Golf activity.
In fact Cheshire is right up there among the top counties when it comes to 2-FORE!-1 Golf – nearly 40 courses currently belong to the scheme and offer half-price green fees…provided you’ve got a 2-FORE!-1 Golf voucher at hand.
And there are some cracking courses among them too including the mighty Nicklaus Course at Carden Park which also boasts another splendid 18 hole layout and a luxury De Vere hotel.
At the other end of the budget scale, Altrincham is a fine example of a municipal parkland layout and if it’s a seriously challenging game you’re after, then book a tee-time at The Tytherington which guarantees a stern golfing test.
Besides Carden Park, there are some superb stay and play venues with the pick of the rest being Shrigley Hall and Portal Hotel Golf & Spa.
