Duke’s breaks into top 40 courses poll

The Duke’s St Andrews has improved its position in this year’s Scottish Top 100 Golf Course Rankings and in doing so has broken into the top 40 at number 37, up from 44.

Compiled by the website Top100GolfCourses.co.uk, the Scottish version is the result of five year’s research.

“Naturally we are delighted to have moved up in the Scottish Top 100 Golf Course Rankings this year, especially given the steep competition from the fantastic array of golf courses that Scotland has to offer,” commented David Scott, Manager of The Duke’s St Andrews, that is owned by the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa.

“The improvement reflects all the hard work and commitment that the team, both on and off the course, have put into fulfilling our aim of making The Duke’s one of the finest heathland courses in the country and one that golfers aspire to playing.”
