Wales boasts some of the best courses in the UK and many of them feature in 2-FORE!-1 Golf, the biggest and best discounted green fee scheme in the land.
Altogether nearly 60 Welsh venues belong to 2-FORE!-1 Golf and offer half-price golf and that includes a lot of big name courses.
They certainly don’t come much bigger than the Celtic Manor resort just outside Newport, South Wales. Celtic Manor of course is preparing to stage the 2014 Ryder Cup and both its Roman Road and Montgomerie layouts offer 2-FORE!-1 Golf. The Roman Road is a regular European Tour stopping off point.
Down the years Marriott St Pierre has also hosted a number of major events, the Chepstrow track’s Old Course having set the scene for a Solheim Cup – the women’s equivalent of the Ryder Cup.
St Pierre is another popular 2-FORE!-1 Golf venue and so is the stunning Vale Resort which sits just off the M4 and is the home of two excellent layouts including the superb, ultra-demanding Wales National course.
Wales is also renowned for its quality of links layouts with the talented trio of Tenby, Conwy and Borth & Ynyslas being three of the very best seaside courses available in 2-FORE!-1 Golf.
In other words, there’s something for everyone and another good one to try is Holyhead, an outstanding par 71 heathland track.
