De Vere back 2010 Challenge event

The National Golf Club Challenge has announced that all 11 of the prestigious UK De Vere Hotels, Resorts & Venues golfing resorts will be participating in the 2010 Challenge event, with the aim of raising thousands of pounds for the worthy Help for Heroes cause.
The Challenge, to be held on the 24th and 25th July, will bring hundreds of golf clubs, and thousands of golfers together on the same weekend as part of a nationwide charity golf event.
“We have continued to support golf at various levels at all of our resorts in recent years and the National Golf Club Challenge is a great opportunity for us to support not only club golf, but also a very worthy cause.
“I am sure our members will enjoy playing these events that little bit more knowing that they are contributing to the Help the Heroes campaign” said Richard Barker, Golf and Leisure Sales Manager for De Vere Group
Ten golfers from the top six scoring clubs will be invited to play in The Grand Final, sponsored by YourGolfTravel.com.
The Final will be held over two days in October at one of the UK’s premier golfing venues, The Belfry, four times host to the Ryder Cup.
The Help for Heroes National Golf Club champions will win seven nights at the 5 star Marriott Taba Heights Resort on the Sinai Peninsula. The prize includes three rounds of golf per golfer at the prestigious Taba Heights Golf Resort.
