Colin strikes lucky on Valentine’s Day

Colin Aldous – owner of Suffolk’s Best Western Ufford Park Hotel, Golf & Spa – loved the latest Valentine’s Day to bits…he registered his first ever hole-in-one on his own course!
Colin recalled the magical, deeply romantic golfing moment: “I was just playing a friendly game with my eldest grandson Joshua. I didn’t see my tee shot at the par-3 3rd bounce, so feared it must have gone in the bunker behind the green. But to my shock and amazement it was in the hole!
“In two decades of playing golf, an ace had always eluded me but luck was on my side today. It also meant I won the game by one shot!” added Colin.
Ufford Park is an impressive parkland course and is always in good condition year-round. It also happens to be a member of 2-FORE!-1 so you can play there for half-price on certain days and times.
