New Celtic Manor bridge to open

The official opening of the new Twenty Ten Bridge at Wales’ Celtic Manor Resort takes place on Wednesday 10th February.

Built at a cost of £2m and stretching more than 100metres in length, the bridge over the River Usk will take players, officials and spectators to the new practice ground for he 2010 Ryder Cup in October.

The bridge will be officially opened by Carwyn Jones AM, First Minister of Wales, in the company of Sir Terry Matthews, Chairman of The Celtic Manor Resort, and Richard Hills, the European Ryder Cup Director.
