Ryder Cup tickets up for grabs

With the public ballot for 2010 Ryder Cup tickets set to close next month, time is running out for golf fans to guarantee themselves a place at October’s Europe v USA showdown at The Celtic Manor Resort.

One way to make sure you catch all the action live and in person is with Celtic Manor’s exclusive Ryder Cup memberships, which include a coveted ticket to all three days of golfing action.

Golfers living outside a 75 mile radius of The Celtic Manor Resort are able to take advantage of the Country Membership which offers all the benefits of Full Membership but with a saving of £1,000 on both the joining fee and the annual subscription.

But with the offer due to end in June – when all ticket holders will have been allocated by Ryder Cup Europe – fans have just three months to sign up and secure their place in the crowd when the world’s top golfers come to Celtic Manor from 1-3 October.

One of the biggest sporting events of 2010, the Ryder Cup is now less than seven months away and tickets to golf’s showpiece team event are very much at a premium.

Members who join Celtic Manor will enjoy full playing privileges on the spectacular Twenty Ten Course both in the build-up to and after the event, along with a highly sought after season ticket to the 2010 Ryder Cup matches.

Until June, new members will also be given the opportunity to purchase an additional Ryder Cup ticket, with both tickets including hospitality places in a special members’ pavilion.

Members will also have full playing access to The Roman Road and Montgomerie courses at the resort, meaning they can enjoy an unrivalled golfing experience as the 38th Ryder Cup approaches.

Ryder Cup memberships currently on offer at The Celtic Manor Resort, which will guarantee new members a ticket to the 2010 Ryder Cup, are:

*Country Membership – for golfers living outside a 75 mile radius with full playing access to the Twenty Ten Course – £2,000 joining fee and £2,000 annual subscription

*International Membership – exclusively for golfers living overseas with full playing access to the Twenty Ten Course and four complimentary room nights per year in the Resort Hotel – £2,000 joining fee and £2,000 annual subscription

*Full Twenty Ten Membership – for golfers living within a 75 mile radius with full playing access to the Twenty Ten Course – £3,000 joining fee and £3,000 annual subscription

*Corporate Membership – perfect for corporations to host corporate clients with playing access to the Twenty Ten Course – £15,000 annual subscription

*Championship Membership – full playing access to the Roman Road and Montgomerie Courses – from £750 annual subscription and no joining fee (additional cost to purchase Ryder Cup season ticket).

Incidentally, both the Roman Road and Montgomerie courses are members of 2-FORE!-1 and therefore half-price green fees this summer (Mon-Thurs) – with a 2-FORE!-1 voucher of course!

Meanwhile, an even bigger range of memberships are available all year-round at Celtic Manor, with full playing access to the Twenty Ten Course available after Ryder Cup ticket cut-off in June.  More information can be found at: www.celtic-manor.com.
