Cityjet link-up with The Dukes St Andrews

CityJet, the airline that flies from the heart of London, is celebrating its new especially-low fare to Dundee by teaming up with The Duke’s St Andrews to offer preferential green fees through its partner – The Golf Concierge – for all passengers booking the special £49 one-way fare.
This new fare, which must be booked seven days in advance, is available for travel from 22 July 2011 for both London City Airport to Dundee and Dundee to London City Airport routes.*
The Golf Concierge is offering an enticing 25 per cent discount on a round of golf – including cart – at the stunning Duke’s Course St Andrews, a championship heathland course that forms part of the multi award-winning Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa.
Originally designed by five-time Open champion Peter Thomson, The Duke’s underwent a remodelling by Pete Dye-protégé, Tim Liddy, in 2004.
By 2006, the American had transformed the course into a heathland masterpiece. Liddy replaced the old pot bunkers with rough-edged, spacious bunkers reminiscent of the romantic bygone years of heathland golf, improved the course drainage and completely redesigned five holes.
The Duke’s now boasts five sets of tees measuring from the front tees an inviting 5,216 yards to the challenging back tees of the Championship Course at 7,512 yards, offering a choice of tees to match every level of golfer.
Flights are available from London City to Dundee up to three times daily and can be booked at www.cityjet.com.
Passengers booking the special fare from either London City to Dundee or Dundee to London City will be offered discount codes on their confirmation booking email for The Golf Concierge promotion at the Duke’s Course St Andrews.
Passengers can then use these codes when booking tickets at www.thegolfconcierge.co.uk.
