New driving range opens at Foxhills

A stunning new state-of-the-art driving range has just opened at the Foxhills Resort in Surrey.

The impressive £300,000 14-bay driving range has two teaching bays enabling the venue’s new Foxhills teaching academy to be launched under the watchful eye of Adam McKinlay.

The teaching academy is set to prove a major hit and its programmes will look to make the best posible use of the latest coaching theories, technology and biomechanical information.

The Foxhills aim is to offer every golfer – regardless of ability – a service worthy of a Tour professional.

Incidentally, current Tour stars Paul Casey and Anthony Wall both learnt their trade at Foxhills where they were members of the Foxhills Foundation.

The new driving range will no doubt be widely used on Friday August 26th when the Foxhills Mixed Open event will be staged.

It is being sponsored by Searcys and the entrance fee is £80 per pair for members & £100 a pair for non-members.

What’s involved: Morning coffee and Danish pastry on arrival; warm-up on the new driving range; 18 holes of competitive golf and gourmet BBQ in the Walled Garden.

Format is a Betterball Stableford (three quarters handicap) with a maximum of 28 for men and 36 for ladies. There will be longest drive and nearest-the-pin prizes for men and ladies plus a chance to win a meal for two at Searcy’s Champagne House St Pancras plus over £200 worth of clothing and equipment.
