Great stay and play deals at Oceanico’s Amendoeira Resort

As the summer draws to an end, not that it really started, golf resorts around the globe are looking for ways to entice players to their fairways.

One of our favourite offers this autumn is one free package per eight bookings, which is being offered by the Oceânico Amendoeira Golf Resort in the Algarve.

Ideal for groups and families, the resort boasts 36-holes of championship golf, first-class accommodation and leisure facilities.

Guests can choose three nights for the price of two and two rounds of golf from €220, or five nights for the price of four and four rounds of golf from €442. 

For longer breaks the offers comprise seven nights for the price of five and three rounds of golf from €434 or seven nights for the price of five and five rounds of golf from €565. These prices are per person, per package for a group of 8 golfers with 4 golfers sharing a two bedroom apartment.

Each package consists of golf on both the Oceânico Faldo Course and Oceânico O’Connor Jnr. courses with buggies included. The five night package includes golf on the Oceânico Victoria Golf course, whilst Oceânico Old Course is available to those taking advantage of the seven night offer. 

Guests can also enjoy complimentary use of the Amendoeira Golf Academy & Fitting Suite practice facilities and the recreational sports facilities at Amendoeira Sports Club which include two five-a-side Astroturf football pitches, six tennis courts, beach volleyball/football, a gymnasium, shop and bar.  In addition, the packages also provide a 50% discount on golf shoe rental.

The modern two bedroom apartments comprise one spacious living room/dining area, satellite TV and Wi-Fi Internet, a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine.  Each has its own balcony or terrace – a perfect spot for relaxing in the sun or dining al fresco. The apartments are also served by a communal pool.

The Resort is situated 35 minutes from Faro airport in the beautiful central Algarve countryside, 10 minutes from the town of Silves and Armação de Pêra beach.  With ease, guests can explore a host of local attractions from the Aqualand Water Park to horse riding on the beach.

The packages do not include flights to Faro.  Guests can book the most convenient flight times with airlines including Monarch, British Airways and Easyjet from the UK.
