2-FORE!-1 six of the best

Not sure where to use that coveted 2-FORE!-1 voucher? Here are six more top 2-FORE!-1 tracks which will definitely provide plenty of golfing thrills and spills…
*Stapleford Park, Leics – a class act on and off the course. The Donald Steel-designed course is a great test of golf as members of the European Seniors Tour have recently discovered. It’s nearly always in tip-top condition, and is majestically plotted on historic Capability Brown landscape around a stately home converted into a luxury five star hotel.
*Hexham, Northumberland – outstanding rolling parkland layout close to the river Tyne and surrounded by stunning Northumbrian countryside.
*Wildwood, Surrey – an excellent parkland course in the heart of the countryside to the south of London. Boasts excellent greens and well-kept fairways and is the home of 27 holes (Parkland, Lakes & Woodland nines).
*High Post, Wilts – simply one of the best downland courses in England and being based on chalk is fast-draining and nearly always open as a result.
*Perranporth, Cornwall – dramatically overlooks the town’s golden sandy beach and is a James Braid links gem. It’s quirky – you’re asked to hit several ‘blind’ drives – but challenging and great fun.
*Tain, Scotland – this Old Tom Morris links is something of a hidden gem and is a true star of the Highlands. Bordering the River Aldie and the Dornoch Firth, it’s the longest course in Ross-shire and is well worth paying a visit en-route to Royal Dornoch.
