* Manor House, Wilts – A magical rollercoaster of a track plotted amidst 365 stunning acres of breathtaking Cotswold countryside.Parkland golf doesn’t come much better than this. It really is a must-play as it’s always in great condition, making the best possible use of the breathtaking undulating terrain with several stunning elevated tees.

This Wiltshire wonder has several signature hole candidates – take your pick from the driveable par-4 8th, the teasing, twisting par-5 12th and the stunning par-3 penultimate hole with its green 120ft below. Memorable with a capital M.

*Forest of Arden (Arden course), Warwick – A superb Donald Steel parkland course which magically weaves its way around picturesque Packington Estate complete with free-roaming deer. It has been a regular European Tour venue in recent times.

*Machrie Hotel, Isle of Islay – Marvellous Machrie is right up there with Scotland’s legendary links courses (low season only in 2-FORE!-1).

*Leeds Castle, Kent – Pleasant but not-too-testing nine-hole layout circling the stunning castle.  

*Bakewell, Derbyshire – Fun and picturesque nine-hole heathland course with a par of 68 and 18 different tees.

*Seahouses, Northumberland – top value links/parkland layout with some of the most dramatic par-3s you’re ever likely to play!
