Head to Costa Dorada to brighten up your winter

Spain’s Lumine Golf Club, one of Europe’s most inspiring new golf resorts has launched a trio of stay and play packages to suit those seeking a golf and leisure break in warmer climes this winter.

Catering for short and longer stays, the packages afford golfers the opportunity to experience one of Europe’s most diverse leisure destinations, encompassing 45-holes of championship golf, as well as the cultural and historical attractions abundant in the surrounding region; from the distinguished Priorat wine region to a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the ancient Roman town of Tarragona and from Europe’s tallest rollercoaster at PortAventura theme park to the sophisticated streets of Barcelona.

From 1st October 2013 to 31st May 2014, packages are available for:

•One night bed and breakfast and one green fee at Lumine Golf Club for €99pp

•Three nights and three green fees for €295pp

•Seven nights and five green fees for €530pp.

Accommodation, dependent on availability, is available across four contemporary 4* hotels, each just a short transfer from the Troon-managed resort.

Lumine GC includes the Greg Norman designed Lakes Course which plays host to the European Tour Qualifying School Stage 2 and the Hills Course which runs through pine and olive trees with spectacular views of the nearby coastline. The two championship courses are further complimented by the aptly named 9-hole Ruins Course, another Norman design that weaves its way through Roman archaeological remains from the second century.

Located just one hour south of Barcelona, Lumine’s immaculately presented courses are backed up by a state-of-the-art Golf Performance Centre.

Off course you’ll discover further world class-facilities, including Lumine’s luxurious Beach Club – fast becoming one of the most fashionable venues in the Costa Dorada region.
