It’s a case of all change at High Legh Park

This summer will see a new challenge for golfers in the north west: Cheshire’s High Legh Park Golf Club is launching a revision to its 18 hole course.

The changes will include the introduction of two completely new holes, the reintroduction of two holes that have been out of play for nearly 5 years and one hole alteration. The resulting course will be more challenging and interesting for golfers from all over the North West.

Gavin Beddow, the Director of Golf at High Legh Park GC, has been instrumental in bringing about the changes to the course and is certain that both existing members and new visitors to the club will appreciate the changes.

“Golf courses need to evolve over time to help golfers develop their skills. The introduction of two completely new holes alongside the re-commissioning of two previous holes and major alterations to another will mean that anyone who plays the course will get a much more interesting round of golf,” he promised.

The course changes are part of the on-going development at High Legh Park that will also see the introduction of the ISM Golf Academy. The new course will be available for people to play from early August.

It’s worth noting too that High Legh Park is a member of 2-FORE!-1 Golf.
