Chance to win a dream Wentworth four-ball

As home to the BMW PGA Championship, Wentworth’s West Course is one of Europe’s most revered golfing venues and Devon’s Dartmouth Golf & Country Club is giving golfers the chance to play the famed layout as part of its new golf packages this autumn and winter.

Available until September 30, anyone booking a one or two-night golfing break at the popular south Devon resort over the coming months will automatically be entered in a prize draw to win a fourball at Wentworth, also the base for the European Tour.

Golfers can take advantage of a range of great value packages at Dartmouth from October until December 31, 2013, with a one-night bed and breakfast stay on offer from just £69 per person.

Based on two people sharing a room, the package includes two rounds of golf on the resort’s renowned Championship Course, unlimited golf on Dartmouth’s nine-hole layout and complimentary use of the venue’s extensive health and leisure club.

People interested in a longer stay can enjoy two nights’ bed and breakfast and three days’ unlimited golf from only £110 per person, while one in 12 people go free with both packages.

Situated in 225 acres of south Devon countryside, just outside the beautiful town of Dartmouth, the resort boasts 27 holes of golf with the 18-hole Championship Course and Dartmouth Course complementing each other nicely.

The Championship Course was designed to challenge the most proficient golfer, with strategic positioning of tees, meandering streams, 12 water features and undulating greens. But while it makes the better players think, it is not so punitive as to spoil a round for high-handicappers and provides an excellent and enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities.

Although only a nine-hole layout, the Dartmouth is built to the same high standards as its sister course. Measuring 2,252 yards with a par of 33, it is guaranteed to test players while they enjoy a more relaxed round.
