TaylorMade is preparing to rewrite the rules of golf club forgiveness later this year with the launch of the TaylorMade r7 CGB Max driver, Todays Golfer can exclusively reveal.

The Adidas-owned golf brand has been at the forefront of golf club technology for many years now and their latest creation offers golfers more adjustability and forgiveness than ever before.

Todays Golfer got a world exclusive first look at the new TaylorMade r7 CGB Max range of drivers, woods and irons this week and we’ve been impressed by what we see.

The big draw (if you’ll excuse the pun) is the all-new adjustable TaylorMade r7 CGB Max driver. With its patented Movable Weight Technology it promotes up to 35 yards trajectory change by moving the weights around. For the golfer that means you can hit anything from a slight fade to a huge draw simply by adjusting the weighting.

The head shape of the TaylorMade driver has changed too as the engineers move towards a triangular body  in order to get as much weight back as possible to improve launch angle. This is then combined with a long and lightweight shaft and the highest possible moi to result in what TaylorMade say is the most forgiving driver they’ve ever made.

Expect to see TaylorMade r7 CGB Max driver in the shops this autumn.
