It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for – the first OFFICIAL images and info on the new Ping S57 irons!
As soon as they landed in the office, TG’s senior equipment editor Sean Ramsdale was almost weeping with joy at the beauty of the Ping S57. “They are a work of art,” he exclaimed.
And while Sean may have been going over the top slightly, the Ping S57 is certainly a stunningly good-looking set of irons. Words such as clean, crisp and confidence-inspiring would describe them perfectly.
On initial inspection, we assumed that the relatively small-headed Ping S57 club would only suit better players…but how wrong we were! Sean’s number two Jon (8 HCP) found them fairly easy to use as well. Check out the site later for a “first hit” video!
The vertical stabilizing bars help provide consistent ball flight, while the sound of ball off head is nothing other than super solid!
The Ping S57 irons will be on sale at the start of September and, in traditional PING stylee, the clubs will be individually priced at £90 per club.
