cleveland launcher driver

Not so long ago, Cleveland’s Launcher range was a big hit with golfers and we’re thrilled to see it make a welcome return in a bigger and better way and packed with the latest available technology.

The new model combines tradition and technology to create a conventional looking head that pushes the boundaries of performance. With a super-high MOI, very low spin and a mid-trajectory, it’s the straightest and longest Launcher club that Cleveland Golf have ever made and has a 21% larger face than the original Launcher and Launcher Comp models.

What this means to the average golfer is a bigger hitting area and more power across the face and increased forgiveness. The Cleveland driver Launchers’ horseshoe shaped weight pad on back edge of the sole also helps to improve stability at impact ansd increase the launch angle. Modern gear is all about getting the MOI higher and keeping the centre of gavrity in the club deeper and lower for the perfect ball flight to max out distances for all types of players.

The thickness of the crown is an incredibly thin 0.5mm which also helps to move every bit of potential weight lower and deeper to further optimise launch conditions. Apart from that, the lighter and slightly longer Fujikura Flightspeed shafts help to increase clubhead speed for even more distance.

We’re pretty keen to get our hands on one asap and our video review will be right here very soon!

The Cleveland Launcher driver is available in lofts of 9.0°, 10.5°, and 12.0° and will cost £219. Expect to see it in shops from mid October or more info, just visit www.clevelandgolf.com.
