Nike Victory Red Irons

Nike Golf’s game improvement iron for 2009 is simply called the Nike Victory Red iron and has a full cavity back and more offset than either of the other two models in the range.

The Nike Victory Red irons have a full package of design features to help players get the very best out of their swing. A deep full cavity, wide sole, thick topline and offset all provide maximum forgiveness and confidence for the average golfer.

The full cavity Nike Victory Red Iron clubhead design positions the centre of gravity further back to facilitate high launching, soft landing shots with increased perimeter weighting to increase the MOI for extra forgiveness on mishits.  Thinner face thickness on the top and progressive thickness closer to the bottom move weight closer to the sole and lower the centre of gravity.

Made from 431 Stainless Steel, the Nike Victory Red irons provide a soft, crisp feel (25% softer than the commonly used 17-4 Stainless) and although they won’t quite match the quality and feel of the forged offerings, will save a few welcome ££s as a result. These will also be available in November and come packed with options:
