Pinpoint accuracy with the new Sureshot 8850

For golfers who like to know every square inch of a course Sureshot has just released a new handheld GPS which can store up to 100 courses at any one time.

The Sureshot 8850 is correct to within +/- one yard thanks to hi-tech digital, calibrated maps and in-house “mappers” to ensure that all courses are 100% accurate.

The 8850, distributed in the UK by Motocaddy Ltd, displays the distance from the player to the green or hazards in either metres or yards depending on personal preference.  Distances to greens and other key points such as hazards, dog-legs and lay-ups are displayed in real time and update with the players’ movements. Golfers can also personally map a course or edit any registered mapped course should they have the time or inclination.

Stat-happy golfers can also record driving distance, fairways hit, greens in regulation, sand saves and putts per round and the data can then be uploaded to a home computer for analysis and game-by-game comparison.

The Sureshot GPS 8850 retails at £229.99 and is available direct from the Motocaddy website at www.motocaddy.com/sureshot or from leading pro shops and golf retailers across the UK and Europe.

Sureshot’s database carries around 12,000 courses worldwide and growing. Silver membership to the website comes as standard with the 8850, which includes three free downloads per year.
