Video review: TaylorMade xFT exchangeable face wedge

TaylorMade have a habit of getting us very excited when they launch new product – and they did it again with the xFT wedge.

It is the first wedge with an exchangeable face so it can be replaced when the grooves are worn.

It’s a nice idea and it means you can get the club fitted to your exact specifications -shaft, grind etc – and then only have to pay for replacement faces rather than a whole new club when the grooves wear down.

But is this just a marketing gimmick or does it actually work – and is the club itself actually any good? TG Equipment Editor David Connor and Instruction Editor Joel Tadman sought to find out and reveal all in the video below.
