Video review – new Yonex Nanospeed 3i fairway wood

Earlier this month we brought you news of Yonex’s new Nanospeed 3i range and now we’ve managed to get our hands on the clubs to be one of the first in the country to hit them.

TG’s equipment editor David Connor and features writer Kit Alexander took the 3 wood from the range out at Elton Furze Golf Club in Cambridgeshire to see if it lives up to Yonex’s billing as the longest and most forgiving wood they’ve ever produced.

The technology in the club includes the use of Elastic Titanium and Nano Elastomer in the shaft to give a higher club head speed while the face has been designed to enlarge the sweet area meaning a higher ball speed no matter where you hit it.

See the video below with David and Kit’s thoughts.
