TaylorMade launch R9 irons

Following on from their massive success with the R9 driver, TaylorMade have launched their new R9 irons.
Like the company’s Burner 09 irons, the long and mid-irons were designed separately from the short irons – this mean the long and the mid clubs are easier to hit and more forgiving, while the shorter ones make scoring the name of the game.
And in the R9 irons, TaylorMade also show off their new Velocity Control Chamber in the 3-iron to 6-iron – this technology is positioned behind the clubface and helps the golfer to launch the ball higher and powerfully.
The shorter irons benefit from a deep, undercut cavity and more weight has been distributed to the heel and toe to offer more forgiveness on off-centre hits.
