Srixon launches new Z-TX range

Srixon has announced its new Z-TX range of clubs comprising driver, fairway wood, hybrid and irons.

The Z-TX range is a premium line and features a titanium-head driver which has been designed with input from Srixon’s touring staff. The driver will retail at £349.

The irons are forged from soft stainless steel with shallow cavity backs to distribute weight round the head resulting in a 20 per cent larger sweet spot on pervious models. The stock set is 5-PW although 3 and 4 irons are available individually. The set from 5-PW will retail at £499 in steel and £549 in graphite.

The fairway woods are available in 15 degree and 18 degree and feature a stainless steel head with a 15 per cent larger sweet spot than previous models thanks to a shallower face and new face thickness. These will have an RRP of £199.

The hybrids have been designed with a less rounded toe to increase confidence over the ball and reduce the impression of a hooked shot. Available in numbers 2,3,4 & 5 with 16,19,22 & 25 degree lofts respectively the hybrids will retail at £139.

The new Z-TX range will be featured in an upcoming issue of Today’s Golfer (issue 262) so keep your eyes peeled.
