When it comes to producing clubs designed to help you improve, Nike Golf have been ahead of the game for a while now.
The launch of their first square-headed driver in 2007 really made people stand up and take notice of what the Nike Golf engineers were doing. The high MOI nature of the big dog meant it was more forgiving on off-centre impacts, which produced straighter, more on-target shots.
And now, the latest addition to the Nike armoury comes in the form of the new MachSpeed, the driver designed to make you hit the ball longer and straighter, by increasing the speed you can swing the club through optimized aerodynamics.
But it’s not just the new driver that is set to impress – Nike Golf have also unveiled their MachSpeed irons which have been designed to give the golfer more ball speed, more power and more forgiveness. And now is your chance to win them.
We’ve teamed up with Nike Golf to offer 16 lucky TG readers the chance to be custom-fitted for either a MachSpeed driver or a set of Machspeed irons. In fact, you will be custom fitted at glorious Wentworth, two days before the BMW Championship in May. What an opportunity!
If you’re a 10 handicapper, or above, we want to hear from you. You’ll need to be able to get yourself to Wentworth in Surrey on May 18th and you will need to commit to reporting back on the product over the next five rounds, which need to take place before July 18.
