Martin Kaymer’s winning US PGA clubs

TaylorMade staff player Martin Kaymer endured a nerve-jangling playoff against America’s Bubba Watson to become only the second German to win a Major Championship.

The man from Dusseldorf was coolness personified on the final day as he kept his head while the rest of the field were moving backwards early on. But following a back-nine charge from Watson to post a score of 11 under par, Kaymer was forced to get up and down from a heavy greenside lie on the 72nd hole to force a playoff, which was one man light after fellow TaylorMade staff player Dustin Johnson’s controversial two-stroke penalty on the same hole.

In the playoff Kaymer struck two sublime iron shots with his TaylorMade RAC irons to set up a birdie on 17 and a par putt on 18.
