Ross Fisher’s winning Irish Open clubs

Englishman Ross Fisher has given his Ryder Cup chances a massive boost with victory at The 3 Irish Open at Killarney.

Titleist staff player Fisher beat home favourite Padraig Harrington by two strokes for a victory which lifts him into the automatic Ryder Cup standings with just a month until the team is announced.

Fisher’s 10-under par second round was the catalyst to his weekend performance after a slow start on day one and the Wentworth player also held his nerve on the final day under pressure from Harrington to finish with a 65 for an 18-under-par total.

He used Titleist clubs from tee to green as well as a ProV1x ball and FJ ICON shoes.

The win capped a great few weeks for Titleist with four Major victories in just three weeks with Benhard Langer using the ProV1 ball to win the US Senior Open and the Senior British Open in addition to the Open Championship victory for Louis Oosthuizen and Yani Tseng’s win in the RICOH Women’s British Open.

In Fisher’s bag over the weekend was:

DRIVER: Titleist 910D3 Protoype driver (7.5°)
FAIRWAY: Titleist 909F2 fairway (13.5°)
HYBRID: Titleist 909H (17°)
IRONS: Titleist 695MB (3-PW)
