Barnes extends deal with Wilson Staff

PGA Tour star Ricky Barnes has extended his current contract with Wilson Staff, after agreeing a new three-year deal.

The brand, who has more Major victories than any other manufacturer, will provide the young American with his FG Tour irons and Barnes will also be seen wearing the iconic FG Tour engineer cap.

“I’m excited about my partnership with Wilson Golf,” said Barnes. “I’ve played great golf since switching to FG Tour irons and my confidence has translated into success on the course. With a great team working with me, I’m looking forward to achieving greater success in the years ahead on the PGA Tour,” he added.

The 29-year-old Californian played an important part in the development of the FG Tour irons, along with three-time Major winner Padraig Harrington and he will continue to provide invaluable feedback on the development of future products.

The FG Tour irons are a TG favourite, and they actually saw off fierce competition to win the Tour Quality section of our most recent irons test. If you would like more information on the irons, please visit www.wilson.com
