Schwartzel’s Nike gear helps him to win in South Africa

Charl Schwartzel got the best out his Nike gear for the second week running as he won the Joburg Open in his native South Africa.

The 25-year-old held off the challenge of compatriot Keith Horne and Ulsterman Darren Clarke, winning by six shots.

Schwartzel’s arsenal of gear included the new Nike STR8-Fit driver, which is adjustable in 32 different ways, and SasQuatch fairway woods. He also used Nike’s gorgeous VR blades and the VR wedges on his way to an impressive four-round total of 23-under-par.

The South African was dressed head-to-toe in Nike apparel and also the Nike Tour Premium shoes as he backed up his victory at the Africa Open with the win in Johannesburg.
