Alexis Thompson signs up with Cobra-Puma

Youngster Alexis Thompson has become the first athlete to be signed under both the Cobra and PUMA brands.

The 15-year-old, who is the world’s No. 1 amateur, will now wear PUMA apparel and use Cobra equipment, as she looks to make a dent in the professional ranks.

Thompson will be using Cobra’s new S2 driver, the S2 3-wood, the Baffler Rail hybrid and Cobra’s S2 Forged irons.

Three years ago, the starlet became the youngest ever player to qualify for the US Women’s Open, aged just 12, and she has since gone on to excel in the Curtis Cup where she claimed an impressive haul of 4.5 points from a possible five.
