G-MAC’s winning Celtic Manor clubs

Callaway staff player Graeme McDowell threw down a marker ahead of the Ryder Cup with a comprehensive victory at October’s venue.

The Northern Irishman carded a stunning final round 63 at Celtic Manor to win by three from Welsman Rhys Davies, who himself returned a course-record 62.

It was McDowell’s first victory since his win in the 2008 Barclay’s Scottish Open and he did it with a bag full of Callaway clubs. The final leaderboard also helped mark a great week for Callaway and Odyssey with seven of the top 10 using their putters.

In McDowell’s bag was:

DRIVER: Callaway FT-3 Fusion (9.5°)
FAIRWAY WOOD: Callaway X-Tour 07 (15°)
IRONS: Callaway Diablo Edge (3 iron), Callaway X-Forged (4-9)
WEDGES: Callaway X-Forged (48°, 52° and 58°)
PUTTER: Odyssey White Hot No7
BALL: Callaway Tour i(x)
