Video review: Cleveland CG7 Black Pearl irons

The holy grail for modern-day golf manufacturers when it comes to irons is to make a set that is long and forgiving – but without looking overly big. Cleveland have achieved that with the CG7 Black Pearl irons.

The clubs are finished in black which makes the head appear smaller while offset, cavity backs and gel-dampening technology make these extremely easy to hit.

The result is a terrific looking golf club with all the game-improving features the average golfer is looking for.

To test them out TG found two very average golfers – our gear duo Jonathan Greathead and David Connor – and they took them down the range for a try.
