ODYSSEY LAUNCH NEW BACKSTRYKE PUTTERS

Odyssey have unveiled their latest line of putters in the form of the new Backstryke range.
We will show you the wands in all their glory in a forthcoming issue of TG, but what we can tell you is that the Odyssey design guys have produced a truly innovative product.
The engineers have moved the shaft backwards, placing the axis of the shaft as close to the putter’s centre of gravity as possible. This in-line axis develops what the Odyssey chiefs call Stroke Balance – a fluid and stable stroke path, promoting better distance control and accuracy.
Golfers are also promoted to press their hands forward, using Odyssey’s new Forward Press Stabilisation technology – this means you can still push your hands forward, but without delofting the putter – one of the more common putting problems!
The Backstryke wands will retail at £159 and will be available in three different designs.
