Aussie favourite Adam Scott looks ready to catapult himself back up the world rankings after his second win in six months with a bag full of Titleist gear.
The former world No3 had dropped out of the world’s top 50 following a dip in form but now he’s back with a bang with victory in the Valero Texas Open to follow up his Australian Open win in December.
Following heavy rain on Friday, the final 36 holes were played on Sunday and Scott combined 12 birdies and one eagle in closing rounds of 66 and 67 for a one shot victory.
Interestingly, Scott’s last three victories on the PGA Tour have come in Texas having won the Houston Open in 2007 and the Byron Nelson two years ago.
