Belfry welcomes hundreds of golfers at open day

The PGA National Fitting Academy at the Belfry welcomed hundreds of golfers through its doors at its latest open day.

Visitors were able to see the latest equipment from the nine major manufacturers based at the Belfry’s fitting centre. TaylorMade exhibited its brand new Tour truck at the venue while the open day was also the first time Titleist’s new 910 drivers had been available in the Midlands.

Golfers were also treated to a number of clinics, fitting sessions and one-to-one lessons from the Belfry’s team of PGA Professionals throughout the day.

“With all the new equipment on show, members of the public were very keen to sample the latest clubs on the range,” said Alex Davies, Golf Academy Supervisor.

“When buying new equipment at The Belfry, players are custom fitted free of charge and this continues to be a big attraction for golfers.”
