New Snooper Shotsaver S400 laser range finder

Renowned GPS and satnav firm Snooper have entered the range finder market with the launch of their new Shotsaver S400.

The device has been designed specifically for golf and can pinpoint targets up to 400 yards away.

It also features a specific Pole Position technology setting which will automatically hone in on a flag from up to 250 yards away.

But the big selling point with the Shotsaver, say Snooper, is the price point. It will retail for just £149.99.

Steven Ballard, managing director at Snooper, said: “Judging the distances to different points on the golf course is key to any golfer’s game, and being able to rely on the equipment you’re using is vital. That’s why we’ve developed the S400 Shotsaver Laser Range Finder – an easy-to-use device with the most accurate technology available.

“The S400 also offers golfers the best available range finder features with unbeatable value for money, avoiding a compromise between performance and cost. The device has also been carefully designed to give golfers a compact and effective aid that is intuitive to use and provides second-to-none results, wherever you are in the world.”

TG’s gear team will be running the rule over the Shotsaver S400 and other GPS and rangefinder devices in issue 278 of Today’s Golfer magazine, on sale December 28, 2010.
