Video review: Odyssey Backstryke putter

When it comes to putter design few companies have pushed the envelope more than Odyssey and now they’re doing it again with a new range of Backstryke putters.
They’ve never been afraid of innovation and that includes pressing ahead with ideas that some golfers may think a little strange – such as the Backstryke where the hosel connects to the back of the putter head.
This is designed to encourage the golfer to keep their hands forward and encourage an upward strike on the ball for a better roll.
To see if the company that brought us the renowned 2-ball putter had come up with another gem TG’s gear duo Jonathan Greathead and David Connor took it to the practice putting green. You can see how they got on in the video below.
