Dustin Johnson’s winning BMW Championship clubs

Big-hitting American Dustin Johnson has bounced back from his final-round USPGA heartache to win the BMW Championship and catapult himself to second-place in the FedEx Cup play-offs.

The TaylorMade staff player was penalised with two strokes for unwittingly grounding his club in a bunker on the 72nd hole of the USPGA Championship last month, which cost him a place in a play-off against Bubba Watson and Martin Kaymer.

But while lesser men may have taken years to get over that disappointment, Johnson has done it within a couple of weeks with a terrific victory at Cog Hill.

The 26-year-old won by a single stroke from Paul Casey after coming from three behind.

Johnson is known for his booming drives and towering long irons but every club in his bag did the job at Cog Hill.

Here’s what he did it with:

DRIVER: TaylorMade R9 (10.5°)
FAIRWAYS: TaylorMade R9 (15°, 19°)
IRONS: TaylorMade R9 TP (3-9)
WEDGES: TaylorMade xFT (48°, 54°, 60°)
PUTTER: Scotty Cameron Newport 2 prototype
BALL: TaylorMade Penta
