Video review: Nike VR hybrid

There is no doubting that Nike’s terrific VR range has been one of its major success stories since the brand entered the golf market – and the Nike VR hybrid is carrying on that mantle.
The VR hybrid performed well in our recent hybrids test and bagged a silver award – despite looking as if it is aimed squarely at the better player.
The head looks compact thanks to a silver and black crown but, being a hybrid, this should be much more forgiving than an equivalent long iron.
To see if the compact head would help or hinder their shot-making potential, TG’s equipment team Jonathan Greathead and David Connor took the VR hybrid onto the range at the Belfry’s PGA National Academy to test it out.
